I’m stuck in the sideways comment of “I’m not drinking Merlot!” … but Merlot I did drink!

I’ve had my share of Twigs wines and each one I’ve enjoyed. This one has a bit a unique taste. With a fruity aroma and hints of spices. It has a deep violet red color with well structured body. This Merlot is sma -oooth! I did like this wine better the first day – however, I may not have finished this bottle fast enough and perhaps waited a bit too long to finish this one up. The second (in my case 4th) day did not carry all the original vibrant flavors I got the first time I opened this. I think the fault lies with me – not the wine.
You can pair this wine wonderfully with red sauce, pizza and cheeses. I had this wine on it’s own and then had some pizza with it! Since it went so well with pizza … I’m going to suggest some Mozzarella!
