With a face like that on a wine bottle … it kindof makes you wonder what’s going on inside …
It’s a whole lot of snootiness going on in the bottle … but it’s also a whole lot of fun going on in there too! I’ve reviewed other snooty fox wines and have been happy with all of them. This one I will say was much better after it had time breath. My recommendation – the next day gives you even more snooty fun.
Taste on this was a bit different. It was heavy on the red fruit taste and my untrained palette detected a bit of cranberry tartness. A few hints of violet tones, some green pepper taste and a bit o’plum! It rounded out well. Again, the next day was much smoother and I enjoyed the wine a bit more than the first day.
I paired this wine with a grilled filet and of course … it went well. They also recommend this wine to try with a variety of cheeses. I didn’t try pairing it that way … but I’m sure it would go well.
Have you tried this wine? I know they are looking for distributers thru Beverage Trade Network … so you’ll have to check them out and see where you can get this in your area!
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
