I think I made up a new word in my blog post title. Kindeling. Although, it is strangly close to kindling which is something completely different. So. We got that going on.
It’s been some time since I’ve done a “My Life” post. It’s been a busy few months. Here we are though and I thought I would catch up with y’all. Yep, I said Y’all .. I have sounthern rights to be able to say that. I lived in the south for a few years and pull that phrase out every now and then. It’s fun! Don’t y’all think?
I was approached by a Social Media PR firm to be on a wine tasting panel next week. Thing is, they want me to share my thoughts on the wines. I had to think about that. Then they said, “We’ll send you 4 bottles of wine free.” and I was all “SOLD!”. So my wine arrived this week, here are the 4 bottles.
The bottles were really tired after their trip ... they look so peaceful when they sleep don't they?
At first when I saw the rooster on that second bottle in, I got a little worried because last year I reviewed a wine with a rooster on the bottle and I really didn’t like it! In fact, I labeled it “Some French wine I really didn’t like!”. I thought this might be karma coming to bite me in the ass again, but turns out … this is a different wine. Thank goodness!
The twitter part of my title refers to the fact that this whole wine tasting thing will be done via twitter! It’s true. So, I hope you’ll stop by, join in the convo., help me out when the “real wine” people outsmart me and maybe add in a few words of your own thoughts. The event will be held on June 28th, 2010 at 7 p.m. est. Which means I need to be onboard at 6 p.m. cst. The hashtag to follow is #beaujolais and the twitter tasting host is Rodolphe Boulanger, who is on twitter as @DiscoverBojo. You should follow him. Here are the wines that will be in the tasting event.
