Wine Wednesday! – Why Isn’t It 3 Blind Meese?

by Jennifer Stinnett on June 29, 2010

I’ve heard of the Three Blind Mice but not The 3 Blind Moose. For some reason, that just didn’t flow, so I thought maybe it was a printing error and it should have been 3 blind Meese. I’m not the only one who has this question … check out Google suggestions I found:

Now I want to know who “Brian” is …. but that’ll have to wait for another day.

I’d point you to a website, but the one listed on the bottle isn’t working. That’s a first. So, I’m thinking it might be me and not actually the winery. One never knows.

When I first tried this wine I had sense of tobacco with this, although it’s not heavy, I tasted it and actually liked it’s balance. It’s a nice blend of black cherry, tobacco (my taste) and just a hint of oak. I wonder how close I am? I haven’t read other reviews on this. Mostly because no one reviews wine like I do and I don’t want to be swayed by the real wine tasters out there!

I like this wine … I like it even better with a great steak. Which is what I did. I first tried this on it’s own and felt that with the tobacco taste to it, a nice steak would pair nicely with it. Day number 2 was steak and a glass of 3 blind moose.

okay… now we have to get back to the 3 blind Moose thing. I had to know, is there a plural for Moose? Are you a scrabble player? Then you are in good company with WikiAnswers!:

We’re going to have to get past it and just enjoy what’s on the inside. Isn’t that what wine is all about anyway? Fun, food and sharing with great company! This is a wine I’d be happy to share with friends!

Cheers to Moose!
