Wine Wednesday! Green Truckin’ it!

Last summer I sung praises for Red Truck Winery and their mini-barrel which I still love. So when I saw this green labeled bottle by red truck on the store shelf – I had to try it.

This is a good tasting wine …. I really tasted the cassis which provided just the right amount of .. “huh”! It’s got a dark cherry taste and it’s a great red purple color in the glass. It’s a nice, different taste for an every day wine. It’s also a wine that is made from Organically grown grapes!

I’m not sure …. but I think that’s why these organic wines are under the “Green Truck” label….

This wine sells on their site for $11.99/bottle – I picked mine up for $10.99/bottle. Still a great wine and a tad over the usual $10/bottle stance I take here … but I think you’ll like this wine. Right now on the Red Truck Winery site, if you buy $6 bottles – you get $10 off your order, 12 bottles – you get $25 off your order. Hopefully you live in a state that they can ship to. If you don’t live in a state they ship to, sure hope that your local store sells it!

Cheers to green!
