I did it … I’m going to make every real wine person angry with my next statement. I bought this bottle because I thought the bottle and graphics were so cool…. That’s right I said it … right here, right now … ME! I bought this wine Wednesday’s wine because I liked the bottle.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Product of Chile
Beside this wine coming in a cool bottle, I got this wine for under $10! Cool bottle, cool price … how could I NOT pick this up!? PKNT (pronounced “Picante”) sports a chile pepper to symbolize these Chilean wines. Not only can you find their stylish concept of showcasing great wine in a stylish bottle but their website is pretty intriguing too.
I picked up the Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s a surprisingly good for a bottle of wine less then $10. Other reviews haven’t given this wine a chance. I think you just need to make sure you let it breath a bit. But what do I know … I like wines under $10 and I didn’t go to wine school. So, take my advice for what it’s worth. I found the next day the wine was better and a bit more on the “cherry” taste side. It also has more of a “bright” taste to it then other cab’s I’ve had.
I tried this wine the first night with grilled meat which paired really well. Second night I had it on it’s own. Perhaps that accounts for tasting more of the cherries in it.
So, support a wine from Chile, check out the cool bottle and a good wine at a great price.
Cheers to Chile Pepper Wine!

I pick up wine sometimes based on the bottles. I like to be visually appealed to in my wine-purchasing moments.
