I’m not really sure if my blog title makes sense. I really don’t care. Cuz I think it does. Today’s wine I’m reviewing; this It’s-still-frickin-snowing-here-in-Wisconsin-I’m-going-to-go-nuts Wednesday iiiiiiiisss….

Bandit
2007
Cabernet Sauvignon
1.0L
Red Wine, Most Wanted
Ok, I embelished a bit on the title/introduction…. but the container (we’ll get to that later) that this wine comes in is like a bottle, ‘cept different. I think what I’m trying to convey is that this winery (Three Thieves) had me at 1.5 bottle bottles to their 1 up’ing container that you need to try.
Bandit wine provides us with 10 reasons you should try their wine in this container:
1. Because it tastes good. (I think that’s a given …. although – it was a bit high on the alcohol taste level)
2. 33% more wine (HELL-oooooo)
3. Lower shipping weight = less fuel emissions (so my carbon print is now lower by drinking this wine….. huh.)
4. 96% wine, 4% packaging (gotta like those percentages when you are a wine-o like me)
5. No corked wine (ok ….. this is a Jennifer Downer … I like my corks. I’ll just leave it at that)
6. Wine to go-go …. (I think it would help me if the boys over at Three Thieves also supplied me with a straw … think big sippee juice box for Jennifer!)
7. 1 truck load of empty Bandit Containers = 26 truckloads of empty glass Containers (again … my carbon print just went down…)
8. Made largely of renewable resources (I think corks would have improved the renewable part … just a thought guys …..)
9. You can toss it in your cooler (plus … in the summer … you can go tubing down a river with it too! and a straw.)
10. You can crush it with your forehead when you’re done. (I’ve never tried that …. going on my to-do list!)
So those are the 10 things Bandit says on their container are reasons for trying their wine. Me. I just like the wine cuz I can throw it in my grocery cart, bag it, throw it into the back of my car and stick a straw in it for my Wine Wednesday Wine Review!
Cheers to Three Thieves!

I love the post Jennifer! It’s not snowing that bad, what did we get? Like 4 inches yesterday? (One of the thieves lives and works right here in Milwaukee) Send me an email and I will bring you some more Bandits to try.
Cheers!
