I may be late bringing you the news on this one, but everyone is talking about the little YouTube video that hit it big! Ataque de Panico (Panic Attack).
An unknown producer, Fede Alvarez with a $300 budget just got himself a $30 million deal because of this video. And who shelled out this kind of money? Well, Hollywood of course … and WHO in Hollywood-land did the bidding? According to Claudine Zap, Sam “Spiderman” Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures.
I watched this video which is now up to over 3 million views and I am having a hard time believing this cost only $300 to make. It’s very well done, love the feeling of it and the special effects … for a $300 film … very good. Congrats Fede!
