In light of Christmas being around the corner I wanted to re-vamp my Amazon.com wishlist for 2 reasons. 1. They are having a contest … I haven’t read it yet but it has something to do with adding to your wishlist, or creating a list or ??? etc. I think you might win an island or something (that is a joke, in no way is Amazon giving away an island Amazon OWNS all islands. that is also a joke. I think. maybe not.) and 2. Being an Amazon Associate (affiliate) I wanted to see what crazy things I could find and what was out there. I have not been dissappointed.
Enter the Punching Nun. Concept itself is funny, a good use would be to settle office disputes and I’m thinking Congress might get more done if they submit to a Punching Nun winner vote. Just a thought. But here is the best customer review I found on the Punching Nun:
When I received the punching nun and removed her from the package, her halibut fell off, the glue holding her black cape on didn’t hold either.
That made me chuckle. And the Punching Nun went on my wishlist.
Then I came across the SlingShot Flying Monkey.
Whoa! THIS guy got 83 customer reviews at time of posting. There were so many great reviews. But here is the review on page 2 that caught my eye:
We received this as a gift and wound up playing with my 3 year old Weimaraner with it. She absolutely loves it and is so excited each time I ask her where her mooonnnkeeeeee is. She runs and looks up where we keep it and then hops and hops until I get it and send it flying! When my husband is sitting in his recliner, I flip it to him and she actually jumps on him (stiff legged) until he sends it flying. She will drop it when I tell her to so that we can “fly” it again. Be sure put it back up when you are through playing. It really isn’t meant to be a dog toy. lol
I thought Weimaraner was some “uppity” kid’s name and then I became even more confused when this yuppie child began to hop and hop. The mention of DOG at the beginning would’ve helped me. Also …. if you know “dog mom”, I wouldn’t buy them any more gifts …. they just give them to their dog child for amusment. Flying Monkey went on the wishlist.
And then my 3rd favorite item with a great review was the Smash-It Stress Relieving Egg. The only 1 review on this gem, cracked me up… (pun intended)
I bought this to use up the rest of my gift card and it arrived today. It was really neat how it looks when you squeeze it. When you throw it on the wall, it looks really, really cool. Its like you throw water and it splats on the wall and then goes back to its original shape.
Unfortunelaty, it broke within 4 hours of arrival. Before it broke, hair got stuck to the sticky surface. Also with all the streching and squeezing, it got streched and deformed. But when it broke everyone in the room burst out laughing because the water got on everyone. Maybe that was the stress releving part.
