I love wine labels that play on words! If you are one of those people that emails me to tell me I misspelled something… save it. I spelled it correctly!

That’s right … today’s budget priced red wine is ORGANIC!! with no sulfites detected….. yep, I was also corrected on THAT information as well! All wines have sulfites … however, they get away with it on the label by saying “detected”. I don’t get it …. ask a real wine expert. Or check out this link HERE.
In the meantime, let’s wine a bit about this organic budget wine. I don’t like it. I was all excited because of the cute label, no sulfites detected, organicness of it all …. but the taste. eh… There are other organic wines out there I would rather spend money on. This is one wine I would either cook with …. or …… since I don’t cook …. mix with some white soda. If you mix it with white soda – it kindof defeats that organic reason for buying the wine, right?
I always feel a little bad about saying I don’t like a wine…. but it is what it is. However, I was surprised to see that the same maker of this wine also produces “Our Daily Red” another organic wine. THAT wine I like, which left me confused. Clearly there is a different blend going on with this Well Red; according to the site it’s a blend of Grenache, Sangiovese and a kiss of Syrah. (what measurement is a kiss???)

So there you have it …. we Wined a little and Red a little!
