Is anyone still reading this? I’m here to report that as of summer 2011, Broke Ass is still available for ~$4 in the midwest, and still very good.

I like the Prestige-group Malbec called “Conquista” (also in the discount range) so I gave Broke Ass a gamble. Glad I did. I’ve had thirty-dollar bottles that can’t compete with this. I don’t know exactly what they’re up to down in Argentina but whatever it is, it’s working.

I am a HUGE fan of Brokae Ass red. I buy it at Woodman’s in Menomonee Falls, WI at 3 for $9.99. That is a STEAL for wine this good!

Yepper, even a year and change after this review was written, the Broke Ass wine is still tasty! I tried the 2009 today and can back up what Jennifer said over a year ago. Gotta dig the fact that its kind of hidden in the cheapie shelves helps my cause…I know there will always be a bottle I can pick up!

Tried this over the weekend…paid $6.99 for it and even at this price was well worth it! Your comments were spot on: smooth and velvety, no alcohol taste…was great immediately upon opening the bottle and the wine even opened up nicely after a few minutes to become even smoother.

Gonna go back and buy a few more bottles of this one to have on hand.

Where can you buy this wine? I tried it at a wine festival in Geneva, IL and bought two bottles. It was a bit more than $5. I haven’t been able to find it anywhere since. I really enjoyed it and for $5, I would enjoy it even more! Please help!!!

I tried this wine last night and was very impressed with it for the price. Found it in Wisconsin for $4.50.

You need to try this wine with goat cheese. The one that works the best is the herbs and goat cheese that you can get at Trader Joe’s or any other grocery store. Put the cheese on a french roll and you have a piece of heaven
