Lately, I’ve been a bit obsessed with Google trends. What are people reading, what’s on their minds and why are they googling what they are googling?
I think this monday should be a start of a fun trend of Jennifer Review’s.com! Google Trend Monday! I think it’ll be a fun and a learning experience! … eh …. who am I kidding … it’s me, it needs to be fun….. you should be partaking of your wine as I am … so … what’s up this evening on Google Hot Trends?!?
First of all … we need to skip all the celeb stuff … too easy.
Secondly, we need to skip the … you know … naughty stuff … although some day – it could be a fun naughty google hot trend .. you never know .. so let’s put that in our back pocket!

I was really curious about Coins for anything! Whoa. … THAT was a Google Hot Trend alright. I’ll fill you in on the details:
This guy at 20 (according to the Washington Post) bought “challange” coins while in the military and sold them on eBay; making a profit. He then received a suggestion from an ebay buyer asking if he could create a certain coin. …. the business was then born ….. coins for anything!
Since that time, he has take his business into a million dollar company, creating jobs, boosting the local economy and paying taxes. I LOVE creative business people – it amazes me and I like it even more when it’s on Google Hot Trends!
Now you would think this great story would take on some “kudos”. … um…. no….. it hasn’t, because apparently Jeffery Morin of “challange coins” now called “coins for anything” is getting slack … why? Because he has the coins made in China. Good grief…. people are upset he’s taken american jobs away, not considering the jobs that he DID create and the local revenue he’s generating in taxes.
Here is where I get inspiration … I bet right now some business develpment person in the US has read that article and already contacted Mr. Morin … guaranteed. It’s all about compeition … if a US company can do better …. bring it! The fact is we are in a global economy … this is a case in point.
