Yesterday, or maybe it was the day before or after yesterday… I was watching TV and came across the National Geographic channel. They had on a show that was “investigating” the exploding whale. Seriously .. remember those pictures that went around email before we had twitter, facebook and all that stuff? I thought those pics were fake! They’re not …. cuz it was on National Geographic and I didn’t even have to go to snopes.com to make sure! So of course I HAD to watch … I couldn’t stop.
In fact, I was so obsessed with the fact that National Geographic was covering this and WHY they were transporting a 50 ton whale thru downtown… I had to post about it on facebook. Then…. on twitter the next morning, or maybe it was this morning, one of my facebook friends became totally obsessed with it to; She tweeted about the exploding whale – it wasn’t just me.
Back to the National Geographic show … I have never seen so many people standing around wondering how the whale exploded, how they were going to clean it up and really just lost as to what to do. I mean it’s a frickin’ 50 ton whale. They were moving it on a repo truck and it blew its guts out. It was dead and all .. it just had a bad case of gas, but for real…. look at this dude’s car….
You come out of work just looking to head out with the guys for a quick beer before you go home and THAT is what you see on and near your car. …… what IS that??? a liver piece … oh, wait … maybe it’s a gall baldder! That thing, whatever it is looks heavy. And I know I’m assuming it’s a guy who owns that car, but frankly, I can’t imagine how I would even go near that if I were a girl in heels. Although you could stab the liver/gall bladder thing with your shoe heel and get a hold on it to drag it away from your car. (I’ve thought about this alot). I guess you could just go in from the passenger side too.
If you think I’m kidding on this … check it out…
he (or she) is trying to move the car…. I’m not sure that little car can go over that liver/thing-y.
This is just wrong on so many levels…..
Thank you for letting me get that out of my system. I’d like to leave you with a good view of the explosion site. If National Geographic felt it was important for us to know about this … you need to see ground zero on this one.
