Have you missed me!?!?!

by Jennifer Stinnett on May 29, 2009

Ohhhh… It feels so good to write a post…. I’ve missed everyone and every day I thought … “I gotta write, I gotta write….” but between my new full time job, my “mini-move” to Madison, Wisconsin and family time … I just couldn’t get a post in. Shame on me and I hope everyone will forgive me.

So what is new in my world? Well… I’m new to Madison, Wisconsin and I have to say — the city ROCKS! I’ve not heard one person say anything bad about Madison. I guess the theory is, it must be a good city! I’ll find out and report back for sure! Kiplinger.com just named it #7 of the 10 Best Cities for 2009!

In the meantime, I have some news…. not only did I celebrate my 100th post, but I also celebrated another Birthday. A Birthday that has made me turn 38…. yep… only a couple more years to the big 4-0 ! So, this b-day was celebrated very quietly with a fun friend, one of my super awesome sister-in-laws and my most loved 2 brothers. (I have to say that … they helped me move … lol… just kidding) Truly, in this time of tough times…. having family around is precious. So now my “plug” of my brother’s photography business…. http://StinnettStudios.com check it out… he’s cheap! ;) Like my banner photos… all done by him.

Moving on … I find myself in Madison, but living in what I like to call “the country”. I’m renting a small apartment in a friend’s home on their horse farm. Yep, we have horses…. and for those of you that watched “lifestyles of Buffy the Border Collie“…. She’s a little nervous around the horses. Not a true piller to her breed is she? That’s okay — she’s my girl. She’s happy with her “doggie heroine” aka frosty paws and she’s a happy camper.

So what’s on the agenda for this next year on Jennifer’s Review? Lots more fun. With the help (I hope) of StinnettStudios, we may be doing more videos. I have a few great things coming up … one I’m excited about and will share now with you… it’s a website of an acquaintance of mine called challenge U 2 Cook. I don’t cook… and they challanged me. Stay tuned.

Next, we may doing some more “live” wine tastings at some local places here in Madison, Wi …. that’s currently in the works… keep you posted on that. In the meantime….. please forgive my “where the heck did you go?” routine. I’m back, settled and ready to rock the blog!

Cheers!
Jennifer
