WOW! … I did it!! I made it to my 100th post! In fact, it’s almost to the point of my 1 year anniversary as well! I started this blog back in May of 2008 and I believe my first post was on my birthday and it started with reviewing my favorite wine I bought for my birthday. Looking back … it’s been a fun ride. I’ve meet some great people, learned a LOT of things, done a lot of things wrong and had a great time in the process.
One of my first posts was reviewing a site called “change makes change”. I met the owner of the site on a wine social networking site called Must Love Wine.com! Art and I chatted and I found his site and idea great!
The concept of his site is to save your spare change; which you normally do anyway, the difference is instead of cashing that in for yourself – you donate it to charity. When you do… your spare change can make a change in someone else’s life; thus the title “change makes change!
So without further typing ….. with my 100th post I want to accomplish 2 things:
==> Inspire ALL bloggers (corporations and personal bloggers) to donate every 100th post (even if they are doing their 100th post for the 2nd time (200th), the 3rd (300th) time, the 4th (400th) time…) to a charity. EVERY time..
Bloggers – Grab the code for your blog
==> Create a goal of $500 for this 100th post!
Please join my facebook page if you wish to support bloggers who donate their 100th post and if you are a blogger donating your 100th post! Get the recognition for your charity and generate more “change for change”!
With that said….. here is my 100th post for charity contest!
